I’ve got a special treat for you today! A lovely new book has hit the market and it is full of cute sewn baby items that can be made really quickly. This would be an amazing gift to give a mama-to-be who loves to sew OR for you to pick up to sew for your mama-to-be friends! It’s beautifully photographed and the projects are really fun + simple.

I chose to make the drawstring bag and turned it into a Toddler Busy Bag for my growing babe. She is at the stage where she is into … EVERYTHING, especially when we are out to eat or I’m attempting to grab coffee with a friend. I filled it with some fun activities and it’s small enough for me to toss in my (giant) purse, so I’m excited to try it out!For the Toddler Busy Bag, I put crayons and a notepad (Tinsley has already tried it out, haha!), a zipper pouch of pom poms (she LOVES zipping and unzipping things) and felt pockets + popsicle sticks for her to start learning colors. Any other ideas? These were just a few I came up with on the fly.
The fabric I used is from Art Gallery.
