Hello + happy Monday! This weekend was a beautiful one here in Texas. I hate to say it, but it’s January 25th and I have only worn my coat once this whole winter. I’m starting to think Texas is actually going to just SKIP winter all together this year. Honestly, I’d be okay with that!! We sat outside for a long time yesterday afternoon in shorts and tees, soaking up the cool breeze and warm sun. My Tinsley girl LOVES to be outside! (SORRY to all my east-coast friends!)
Before I had Tinsley, I had never really sewn baby clothes. Y’all know that I love sewing for myself/our house/etc., but clothes for little ones have never been my thing. I can’t say that I am going to start doing it 24/7… BUT sewing this little outfit for Miss Tinsley was so. much. fun. PLUS, it was super simple and used a teensy amount of fabric. Win. Win. Win. YES!
I sewed the Brindille and Twig T-Shirt Dress (I went a little crazy on Black Friday and bought a TON of their patterns- ha!) in a size 3-6 month. The sizing is perfect and I LOVE how cute it looks on her. Her pants are the B&T basic leggings in a size 0-3 month (they are ways too small, but I made them a long time ago and haven’t had the chance to whip up a new pair- oops!).
The t-shirt dress was sewn in a Happy Home knit + the leggings are an AGF solid knit. Man I love these knits! I can’t wait to make a t-shirt dress from Chalk and Paint knits! =)
As I was looking through these pics I had to laugh. Everything in this photo (minus her headband + moccs) was made by me 😉
