Lane Raglan Hoodie Tunic

When I was still pregnant, I got the urge to sew an oversized raglan hoodie. When I finished it, it wouldn’t fit over my giant belly, so I stuck it on the clothes rack at my studio and forgot about it. A few weeks after Tinsley’s birth I remembered it and was immediately glad I had satisfied that urge, because it has now become one the my most-worn items in my closet!

I used the Hey June Lane Raglan + Hoodie add- on, lengthened the bodice by about 6″ and added a pocket to the front. The fabric I used was some fabulous French Terry I scored at JoAnn; I used the right side of the fabric for the main fabric and the wrong side for the accents (cuffs, pocket, etc.). This pattern is definitely a winner in my book! Lane Raglan Hoodie // SewCaroline.com Lane Raglan Hoodie // SewCaroline.com Lane Raglan Hoodie // SewCaroline.com Lane Raglan Hoodie // SewCaroline.com

  1. It looks so comfy; I can see myself using that for the entire winter months! I made a hoodie (but with zippers at the front) and I basically wear it every day! It helps a lot to keep me warm indoors without shooting up electricity bills.
