Dog Bandana – Free Pattern + Tutorial

A few weeks ago, my friend Hannah and I hosted an event at her dog boutique, Wag, here in Fort Worth. I set up a few sewing machines, we had a monogrammer on site, and we sewed the sweetest bandanas for our pups. Several ladies came and sewed for the first time (exciting!) and everyone loved how their pups looked with their personalized bandanas on!Dog Bandana // SewCaroline.comI decided to share the project with you guys, in case you might want to make one for your dog, too! The bandanas come in three sizes: small(neck up to 14″), medium (neck up to 20″), and large (neck up to 26″) and are SO EASY to make. Dog-Bandana

  2. I love this. Thank you for sharing. Although when I printed the forst one off I had not read your instructions properly (too excited and jumped in with two left feet lol) regarding printing the pattern (via Janome) and left the settings as ‘Fit to page’ – consequently the pattern was huge! However I re-read and went back in and have just checked the test sqy=uare – spot on this time – just by ‘unclicking ‘fit to page’. I have a feeling that my dog and all my friends dogs are going to look extremely swish this summer. Having just aquired an embroidery machine (and still ‘playing) I am embroidering everything I can get my hands on. Got to dash – got Bandanas to make – thanks again Caroline.

  4. Cute. Do you have the pattern with just the measurements, for those of us who rotary cut with large rulers and don’t need a template?
