Hi Everyone! It has been so quiet around here… I apologize! As many of you know, I exhibited last week at International Quilt Market in Pittsburgh. The show was over Sunday and I flew home on Monday! I came home with a QM hangover and super gross sinus infection. I am definitely on the mend and am super thankful for that! I wanted to recap a little bit of Quilt Market with you guys!
First off, if you don’t know what Quilt Market is… it is a semi-annual trade show that is open to shop owners, designers, industry professionals, etc. There is a list of credentials you must qualify for in order to get into the show as it is not open to the general public.
I have been to several of the past Fall markets and have loved every second. They’ve been inspiring and just all around fantastic. This, however, was my first time to be a vendor and have a BOOTH! It was so much fun and so EXHAUSTING.
So, my friend April and I shared a corner booth this year. It’s kind of funny because our two lines of fabric (Arizona + Gleeful) couldn’t be more different. But it somehow worked and our two spaces seemed cohesive and separate at the same time! If you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you saw my photos throughout the week! 😀
Since I’ve been home, I’ve done a lot of resting, and planning, and looking forward. The future is bright and I am excited to see what is ahead!!
This weekend in Memorial Day weekend and a few of my friends and I are going camping! I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous… I’ve never really truly been tent camping before, so this should be an adventure!
While I am away, I thought it would be fun to have a little S A L E in my shop. If you use the code WEEKEND15 you can get 15% off your purchase (patterns + threads!) through Monday!
