A few weeks ago, my friend April asked me to test one of her upcoming patterns.. I jumped on it because I love her + her style + the way she writes her patterns. Plus, over the past few months we’ve become pretty good friends– Man, I love the Internet! 😉
You’ve probably heard of her around here, because I’ve sewn her Staple Dress + Date Night Dress many times. Today, I’m sharing with you her *newest* pattern release, The Riding Peplum + Party Dress. In three words: I love it.
It accentuates the waist and hides the hips– a girl’s dream, right? Also, I’m loving the hi-low hemline of the semi-circle skirt bottom portion. Hello, amazing! This one feature here in Pat Bravo’s Rapture fabric is the first one I sewed. I have, however, since sewn a Peplum Party Dress out of red and white polka dotted double gauze that is quite possibly my most favorite dress ever. I’ll share more on that one later, though.
