Sew Your Own Christmas Tree Garland

Hi Friends!

Today I am joining Deby for her Seasonal Sewing Series and I am thrilled to share with you something to spiff up your holiday season, a Christmas Tree Garland. SO, run grab your Christmas fabric scraps, and you’ll be ready to begin!

DIY-Project-Christmas-Tree-Garland-DIY

S U P P L I E S

-Christmas fabric scraps (or if you’re buying, about 1/4 yard of several different prints)

-Pinking shears or pinking blade for your rotary cutter

– Poly-fil

-1 sheet of brown felt

-Sewing machine + general sewing supplies

-Ribbon

I N S T R U C T I O N S

Step One:

Cut out several trees using your pinking shears or pinking rotary blade. For each tree you’ll need: two triangles measuring 4″ on the bottom and 4.5″ lengthwise and one “tree stump” measuring 1″x1.5″.
