A Fall Staple Dress

Fall is so weird here, it will be 58* one day, and then 89* the next. I so wish we lived in a part of the country that experiences all four seasons… rather than Summer and Winter.
Anyway, it is Fall, but sometimes it doesn’t seem like it, so we have to improvise. I made another version of April Rhodes Staple Dress in a mustard print fabric (from Anna Maria Horner’s Hand Drawn Garden reprint!!) that just screams Fall to me. Can’t wait to wear it on a chilly day with tights + boots!

  1. love it. I do love this fabric, always have. And I live somewhere just like that… actually my kid went to school with shorts and a tshirt today and it is now super chilly. awesome. I am now the parent that doesn’t watch the weather before I send my child to school. even more awesome. lol

  2. I just signed up for a class at my local small town fabric store (not JoAnn’s) to make this dress! I can’t wait, I got Amy Butler’s Love Memento Midnight.
