Handmade at QuiltCon Part 4

The rest of the week I’m going to be sharing the handmade outfits I wore at QuiltCon. Hope you guys don’t get sick of seeing my face all over here, but I absolutely loved how all of my outfits turned out, sooo I’m going to share them!
Here’s the thing. Wearing handmade is hard sometimes. You don’t want it to look handmade, but in a sense, there’s no way around it (especially when you’re wearing bright fabrics that other people have seen before). Its been a struggle for me since I began sewing clothes for myself. I’m always asking David, “Does this look like I made it?!” I have to say that recently (maybe the past 6 months) is the first time I’ve really felt confident in my handmade threads.
Here’s Day 4!

Love love LOVE the Washi Dress from Made by Rae. If you’ve never sewn a dress and want a fun pattern to start with, this is your go to! (I sewed it HERE too!) She has all kinds of creative ways to make it unique & suitable for YOU!
And that’s a wrap for this week.
Want to see all the rest of them?
Hope you made it through & enjoyed it as much as I did!
