start with your old drawers. measure the fronts to know exactly how much fabric you will need.
null
cut your fabric to match the outside of the drawers.
null
use spray adhesive on the front of the drawers.
null
place the cut fabric on top of the spray adhesive.
null
coat the top of your fabric with  mod podge (we used glossy!).
null
gather your cute hardware
null
and attach to the drawers. you may have to use the tip of your scissors to poke a hole in the fabric so the hardware will go through.

What do you think?
Pretty easy, huh?

  1. I saw your picture and was wondering how you affixed the fabric to the dresser. I am going to have to add that idea to my studio. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Just used this blog to do it myself and it rocks! Thanks so much…had a great time and turned an old piece of furniture with a future at the dump into a brand new piece with a vintage feel for our new guest room!
