DIY Hair Tool Pouch

Photobucket
Photobucket
8.5″x12.5″ of heat resistant fabric
8.5″x12.5″ fusible fleece
8.5″x 12.5″ cute fabric
ONE 1″xWOF (width of fabric) strip (I pictured 3, but ya don’t need that many:))
Photobucket
fuse the fleece to the wrong side of cute designer fabric & sandwich it in between that and the wrong side of the heat resistant fabric.
Photobucket
pin it A LOT. even if you don’t normally pin. DO IT.
Photobucket
make marks //I used pins// every inch.
Photobucket
sew straight lines all the way down the length of your fabric sandwich every inch.
Photobucket
do the same going the width.
Photobucket
trim your edges up.
Photobucket
add your binding using the 1″ strip.
heather bailey does a fantastic job of explaining how to add the binding //HERE//. Just remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect & using bias tape works WONDERFULLY!
Photobucket
fold it in half & topstitch along 2 of the three open edges.
ta-da!

Hope this was simple enough to understand!
email me with questions, if you need to!
